INDEPENDENT DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS: Summer and Fall community meetings to learn about and provide feedback to IDAC as they moved toward recommending District maps as the City of Merced moves toward district --rather than at-large -- Council elections (2016 & 2018)

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR MARCH & PROGRAM. January 19, 2015, League members joined with approximately 100 others in the parade and program to commemorate the important work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

MEASURE T FORUM: VOTERS WANT TO KNOW. On Thursday, October 23, 2014, LWVMC sponsored this forum to provide voter information on a ballot measure that proposed to amend the Merced City Charter to change from at-large to district elections for Council members.

CITY OF MERCED RESOURCE EFFICIENCY FAIR: LWVMC was proud to support the City of Merced's Resource Efficiency Fair where people throughout the community came together to be find out how we can each do more to be part of the climate improvement solution. Thursday, February 27, 2014, 6:30-8:30 at the Merced Senior Center.
